When videographer Jason Kisser was prepping for a video shoot for Maryland band Goodbye July for their song Vultures in the Gray, he found he needed to send the video signal (wirelessly) to more than one device.
Jason turned to Freakshow HD and their 4K 12G-SDI MSX2 Microsplit Reclocking DA. Using a single SDI output from his Komodo into the MSX2, he was able to feed both a small HD monitor and V-axis wireless transmitter to a director’s monitor.
Jason added:
“I used the MSX2-O on my Red Komodo. I love my Komodo so much, but only having a single SDI out is a huge bummer. I looked around for a while for a small bulletproof SDI splitter, and that’s when I found Freakshow. It’s EXACTLY what I was hoping I could find. It’s small and has been 100% rock solid for me.”
Jason adds that he hasn’t needed more than a 1×2 split, but now that he’s aware of what Freakshow HD offers, he knows he’s covered when the time comes.

Jason Kisser says this shoot was a collaboration with a lifelong friend, Jamin Mears. Together they are 1980 Films.
